A coding bootcamp can propel your career in tech to new heights, but that often means quitting a job, uprooting your life, or moving to a new city. Maybe you’re moving to a new city to become a developer and need a short-term housing option. Or perhaps you’re an international student without credit history. Regardless of your background, funds can become tight when committing to a full-time, intensive bootcamp, and suddenly expenses like rent and food can be stressful. Luckily, there are coding bootcamps that make housing easy or offer a living stipend.
We’ll cover three housing options for full-time, in-person, coding bootcamps in this article:
DevMountain provides fully furnished housing, internet, and utilities included in the tuition for the full-time program, on a first-come-first-serve basis. Students share rooms or pay extra for a private room. Food is not included.

V School offers free housing and free public transportation for full-time Career Changer students, including train passes and bikes. The student accommodation has a swimming pool, hot tub, and an entertainment room.

Curriculum: Full Stack JavaScript (MERN Stack)
devCodeCamp supplies a shared furnished apartment to veterans. Apartments are approximately 2 years old and furnished, just bring sheets and your clothes. You’ll be located in the same building as devCodeCamp and just an elevator ride away.

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Length: 14 weeks
Your Big Nerd Ranch registration fee covers the cost of training, lodging, meals and educational materials, as well as a shuttle to and from major airports.
Tuition: Varies between $4200-$5200
Location: New York City
Length: 1 week
Founder/Hacker is a 2-week, all-inclusive coding bootcamp, and the tuition covers food, lodging, airport shuttle, course materials, and extracurricular activities.
Tuition: $3000
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Length: 2 weeks
Institute of Code tuition includes both housing and meals for the duration of the course at the bootcamp's villa campus in Bali, Indonesia.
Tuition: $3850
Location: Bali, Indonesia
Length: 10 days onsite + lifetime access to course materials

Tuition includes luxury accommodation a few minutes away from Outpost Co-working Space where Code Remote is held, a local SIM card, and airport pick up and drop off.

1. Thinkful offers a $1500/month stipend while enrolled. Students pay this back when they're hired.
2. SkillsFund allows you to add up to an additional $7,500 for cost of living expenses to your bootcamp loan. You can spend that on relocation costs, rent, utilities, car insurance, groceries, etc. SkillsFund partners with bootcamps like Flatiron School, Fullstack Academy to lend students money for these cost of lending loans.
Common offers housing in a community setting with fully furnished memberships in New York City. Common does not require a credit score or history and is open to international students. Common homes are furnished, equipped with laundry facilities, offer free utilities and Wifi and are cleaned weekly. The following bootcamps have partnerships with Common:
