First of all, I have a great support system at home that allowed me to focus 100% on this course for 4 months. I was able to take a recourse to prepare me for the full-time program.
The first month was HARD. I thought I was going to give up. The assignments are fast, and I spent all of my free time studying. It was difficult not to compare where I stood to others in my class. At my toughest moment, I reached out to my Career Services Manager and my TA. They both helped encourage me and offer support when I needed them.
I would say the most important take-aways for those looking to join the bootcamp: Make sure you have a support system. Don't compare yourself to others in the class. Stay dedicated and find the motivation behind why you're doing this.
Coding Dojo has great resources throughout the course, that continue on for 6 months after you graduate. There is also an option to pay more for a yearly alumni pass.

The instructors were really cheerful and experienced and supported all of us through our tough times. Besides the syllabus, they also provided a lot of external resources to make sure we reached to the depths of the topic. This course has definitely helped me equip strong data science skills.
The career services team supported the students with CV writing and job-interview preparation. Overall the entire staff at WBS was supportive throughout these 4 months of time period.

One of my favorite things that they offer was unlimited one on ones! This really helped me when I was falling behind on some exercise and projects! They also offer Career Services where you can do Mock interviews, get help fixing your resume, and basically molding you to be job ready! Other than that, this is one of the most affordable bootcamps that I've seen while I was researching. They offer many payment plans that fits your budget. And I took the live classes, which was only 9 weeks, compared to other bootcamps that usually take 3 to 6 months. Overall experience 10/10! and I'll be graduating tomorrow!!

I had been a hairstylist for fifteen years and had absolutely zero tech experience, but had been curious about it for about five years--especially seeing how my friends in the industry were thriving financially. I liked that the program was fully online but that there were scheduled, structured classes along with flexible scheduled group work time, along with work that you did on your own schedule. The program not only sets you up for success tech-wise, but the career support and staff in general are invaluable. Between the technical training, the full-stack projects you build, the experience you get working with actual clients, and the interview and resume coaching, you really are positioned to land that first job within the first few months (or sooner--I had many cohort-mates that landed jobs while they were still in the program!). It took me about five weeks of interviewing after I graduated to receive two job offers. I accepted a position at a small software consulting agency in Minneapolis and happily celebrated my one-year anniversary at this month. The work is incredibly social and creative, and the risk was absolutely worth the reward. It's rare to leave a career of fifteen years and experience a significant increase in income with your first job in the new field, and my annual raise after one year was right around 15%! I can work from home as much or as little as I like which is a HUGE plus, I love the flexibility. The Staff are all wonderful helpful people that were just nice to have a chat with every once in a while. The TA / Instructors all do a good job of pointing you in the right directions when you're stuck and all in all id say it was definitely worth it. 10/10 would recommend.
I had multiple friends get hired before even finishing the curriculum so the Job assistance is also handled very well.

One of the highlights was the opportunity to work on real-life projects with actual stakeholders, which provided invaluable practical experience. The program culminated in a demo day, where we showcased our projects to leading tech companies, giving us fantastic exposure and networking opportunities.
While the bootcamp is very challenging and requires a lot of hard work, perseverance truly pays off. The skills and knowledge I gained have been transformative, and I feel well-prepared to take on a tech career.

I left the program feeling confident in my coding skills and having already accepted an offer with a starting salary nearly 60% higher than my previous job. I think NSS’s real competitive edge is 1) their wide network of employers who regularly hire from their programs and 2) the fact that they are a nonprofit. They really want you to succeed and get a great job, and they will do everything in their power to help you do it. Also, they want to do it as cheaply as possible, which is not the case with any other bootcamps I’ve seen. Great instructional teams, great career training, and great networking opportunities. This is a career launching program. Best decision of my life.

We learned HTML, CSS, SCSS, Node.js, Vue.js, C#, MySQL, Agile Methodology, MVC pattern and so much more.
On top of all the topics, without me even noticing at first they also taught us how to code in a clean way and use a lot of best practices. Boise Codeworks doesn't just teach you how to code, it prepares you for your future career. I can't recommend this program enough!
